Direct Deposit
- 1st time direct deposit, the client must have
payroll information to Payroll Place by 5:00 pm
EST on Monday. All future direct deposits,
payroll information needs to be in by
Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
Options:
- Print check stubs, stuff in envelopes, and mail
to client along with payroll register.
- Allow employees to log on to Payroll Place’s
website and print or view their own stubs.
Payroll register will be emailed to client.
(Saves on postage.)
- Client can print out stubs from their location
through Payroll Place’s website. Payroll
register will be emailed to client.
Paper Checks
- Payroll information must be received by
Payroll Place by Wednesday at 5:00 pm EST.
- Print checks, stuff in envelopes, and mail to
client along with payroll register. Client must
add Payroll Place as a signer on their account
or provide a signature stamp.
- Client can print out checks from their location
through Payroll Place’s website. Payroll
register will be emailed to client.
- Client can hand write the checks with the
payroll information Payroll Place supplies via
email. Payroll Place can email the pay stubs
to the client or the employees can log onto
Payroll Place’s website and retrieve the
information
Tax Payments
- 941 (Employer’s Federal Tax – Taxes include
Federal Withholding, Employer Social
Security, Employee Social Security, Employer
Medicare, Employee Medicare)
- 940 (Federal Unemployment Tax also known
as FUTA)
- 944 (Employer’s Annual Federal Return)
- Payroll Place will make the State withholding
tax payments electronically.
- An email will be sent to the authorized person
in your company a few days before the tax
payment is deducted out of your account.
- Payroll Place will not be making tax payments
on behalf of the client for city taxes nor will be
doing the city returns. However, Payroll Place
will provide the client the information so the
client can complete the form and make the
payment.
Quarterly Filings
- Payroll Place will file form 941 quarterly
returns electronically.
- The State Unemployment Tax (SUTA) form will
be completed and mailed to the client. The
client needs to sign, enclose a check, and
mail.
Semi-Yearly
- Bureau of Workers Compensation – Ohio
(BWC)
Yearly Tax Returns
- 940 – Employer’s Annual Federal
Unemployment (FUTA) Tax Return
- 944 – Employer’s Annual Federal Return
W2 Printing
- Print, stuff in envelopes, and mail W2 forms to
client.
